Hadlie Jo is a 16 year old singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and recording artist. She is currently attending South Plains Community College in Levelland, Texas, pursuing a degree in Commercial Music. Upon entering her third semester this fall, she is honored to have been on the President’s List the last 2 semesters, along with being invited into the Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society. She currently has 4 singles released to all music platforms, with at least 2 upcoming releases planned for 2024. She travels to Nashville often for recording sessions and co-writing sessions with other singer/songwriters, along with performing in singer/songwriter rounds. A few of the accolades that she’s proud of include, having an original song on the Bob Kingsley Top 40 Playlist in Nashville and she also performed as a “Writer on the Rise” for the Muscle Shoals Songwriter’s Festival in 2023. So far, 2024 has proved to be a productive year for her, as she has been chosen as the “Rising Star” for The Coyote Store in Gail, Texas, and was featured in the Texas Life Magazine. She has also been nominated for 2 awards at The Josie Awards (October 2024) for Young Female Artist of the Year and Music Video of the Year for her original song, “This Ole Guitar”. She also won the South Plains College Songwriter’s Competition (under 18), and she has recently been nominated by Texas Country Music Association as a Top 10 Songwriter Finalist (November 2024).She, along with her service dog Lucy, has had the opportunity to share the stage with many seasoned songwriters, along with many artists including Larry Gatlin, Sara Evans, Randall King, Aaron Watson, Randy Rogers, Moe Bandy, Lacy J.
